:: BFD 2007 ::

This year was my first year at BFD, and I had a great time. I didn't get down there for the entire day, but I got to see a lot of bands that I wanted to check out. As for the others I did not see, oh well, it is SF, they will be back.


First of all, a BIG @$$ shout-out to my girl Ari for hooking these seats up. We were literally 10 rows back from the front. AWESOME seats right on the aisle too.


Second I want to stress how 'EFFIN loud it is there.. take a look at this cluster of speakers; there is one of these on each side of the main stage.. then this doesn't include the other dozen or so in front..





You could see all the bass cone's totally reverberating in the day light.. We both noticed too that seemingly each band got louder and louder.. Who knows. My friend & I have a pretty high threshold to noise, and seriously this concert was super loud. Glad we grabbed earplugs.

I'll admit my Bloc Party pics suck because all of the sudden a mob had rushed the aisle and I could no longer get good pics.. we only stayed for 1.5 song and since I had just seen them .. we split..
